A series of photographic works, taken in 1988 and printed in 2022.

“Printing photographs I shot on film with a twin lens Rolliflex camera 34 years ago and seeing them physically emerge for the first time in a digital world, evokes a sense of folding time, as the past reappears through the darkroom chemical process. boundaries between memory, past and present are blurred.

The indexical quality of the photograph still holds the power to influence, and I find myself questioning events based on what I now see. I find myself fascinated by the intangible distance I feel from the young photographer.

Under the Nylex Sign: Wellington Street, 1988 holds a defined but elusive three months of time.
